Submissions: What to Expect

Our team will evaluate and communicate with you about the print readiness of your Book Block, opens a new window and Cover Sheet, opens a new window documents. This form is the perfect place to ask any questions about ISBN, LCCN, barcodes or other services you are interested in for this project.

When your files are ready for printing and you have pre-paid, we will begin printing.

Our goal is to make sure you are fully informed on all the available choices and to organize the printing process of your book. You can find answers to most questions on the Trail Blazer Press webpages.

Obligations and Limitations*

1. You must have all rights and permissions to the content and designs submitted.
2. All requests must comply with the copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code), intellectual property and other laws of the United States that govern content protected by copyright, patent and other laws. You understand that you are liable for any infringement.
3. Trail Blazer Press does not guarantee book orders will be completed by customer requested deadlines.
4. Both the book block and cover sheet design and content are the sole responsibility of the author, owner, creator, and designer of the work.
5. Trail Blazer Press simply prints and binds paperback books.
6. Trail Blazer Press does not collect for, or advance, royalties to the author or owner of a work.
7. Only the author or owner of a work uploaded to the local catalog on the Espresso Book Machine has permission to print that work from the catalog.
8. Trail Blazer press cannot guarantee a pantone number match on color printing.

Cosmetic Variations*

There are cosmetic variations that can occur during the automated print and bind process by the Espresso Book Machine that are considered normal and acceptable. These cosmetic variations include:

Visible clamp marks
Glue Ridge visible
Spine Wrinkle
Spine Gap
Spine Shift
Spine Skew
Trim Artifacts

Cost: $25 - The International Standard Book Number identifies a specific title from specific publisher and is unique to that edition, and is used by booksellers, libraries, universities, wholesalers and distributors. If you plan to sell your books in bookstores, retail locations, or online, consider purchasing an ISBN.

Cost: $25 - A barcode on the back cover of your book includes both the ISBN number and the price of the book. This allows for a standard method all bookstores and retail locations can use to track and sell your book.
