BOOKMARK CONTEST

The 2023 Annual Bookmark Contest is open! This year's theme is "Libraries are Out of this World".

All entries should be submitted online by October 30 at 11:59pm. Download the entry form, opens a new window.

Rules

  1. Only children ages 2-18 can submit artwork.
  2. The entry form must be submitted as a scanned PDF in landscape format. If needed, there is a scanner available for public use at the library.
  3. Only original artwork will be considered. No copyright or registered images will be considered.
  4. Participants can submit ONE entry.

Where can I get my entry form?

The entry form is available online only.  You can download the form here, opens a new window.  If you choose to print the form, please print it in landscape.  Entry forms printed in portrait will not be considered.

How can I submit my entry?

To submit your entry, scan the PDF and upload it using the form below. Entries will not be accepted at the library. Scanners are available at the library, if needed.

How are winners chosen?

Our elementary librarian will compile the entries and library staff will then have an opportunity to vote for one week. Two winners will be chosen from each of the age groups.

What are the prizes?

Winners will be able to select one book from a list of available titles and will receive copies of their bookmark to hand out to friends and family.

Can I get my bookmark back?

Since all entries must be submitted through our website, you will be able to retain the physical copy.

How/when will I be notified if I’ve won?

The library will only contact winning designers through email.  Winners will be notified before November 11, 2023.  If you are not selected as a winner, you will not be notified.

How many bookmarks can I submit?

Participants can submit only one entry into the bookmark contest.
