What We Do
The Frisco Public Library Foundation Board is committed to supporting a library system that serves Frisco's needs and enhances the community through fundraising, advocacy, and serving as a voice for the citizens. The Foundation's efforts will encourage lifelong learning and impact the Frisco community for generations.
We're a 501(c)(3) — aka, a nonprofit powered by book lovers and big hearts. Your support helps us turn pages, spark imaginations, and grow our shelves. Your support is tax-deductible! Now that's a happy ending!
Who We Are
The Frisco Public Library Foundation was founded in 2003 by Frisco citizens who understood that a great public library system would not be possible through government funding alone.
Since then, the Foundation and the Library have worked together, in a strong partnership, to determine where private support can have the greatest impact on the Library.

What We've Done

The Frisco Public Library Foundation funded the creation of Rexy, a 22-foot-tall T.Rex replica, a centerpiece of the new Frisco Public Library. This contribution is part of a broader effort to enhance library services and learning spaces for all ages.

Make a Gift
Donations provide an opportunity to give hours of enjoyment to others while preserving the memory of a special person and honoring someone you admire.
Donate a Book Legacy or Book Gift to honor someone or show them you care! Salute a retiring club officer, mark a birthday or anniversary, or thank a business or a friend for a special service. As a memorial, a Book Legacy or Book Gift is a fitting expression of sympathy and a lasting tribute that continues a person's influence in the community.
You may give a $500 Book Legacy or a $25 donation for the cost of a single book to the Frisco Public Library Foundation in the name of the person you wish to honor. A book plate will be placed in each book imprinted with the name of the person in whose honor or memory the book is given. We will also include the name of the donor.
Legacies, gifts, and donations may be made in-person, online below, or by using this form, opens a new window.
Book Legacy
With a gift of $500, you can fund a new book each year in honor or memory of someone special. Your donation creates a lasting legacy by adding to the Library's collection annually.
Honorees or their families will receive a letter from the Foundation Board. Legacies can be made by individuals or groups, and each donor will receive a letter of acknowledgement for this tax-deductible contribution.
Book as Gift
With a monetary donation of $25, the library will place one book in the library's collection in honor of whomever you choose. The person or organization being honored will receive a card or letter. Your Book as Gift donation is tax deductible.
