What We Do

The Frisco Public Library Foundation is committed to developing a library system that serves Frisco's needs and enhances the community through fundraising, advocacy, and serving as a voice for the citizens. The Foundation's efforts will encourage lifelong learning and impact the Frisco community for generations to come.

We're a 501(c)(3) — aka, a nonprofit powered by book lovers and big hearts. Your support helps us turn pages, spark imaginations, and grow our shelves. Your support is tax-deductible, now that's a happy ending!

The development of the endowment fund provides for flexible income to the Library, in addition to the government provided operating budget. You can help by using the PayPal donation at the right to help us sustain a vibrant community library.

The Donate a Book fund helps to ensure money for the future purchases of library materials. You can donate to honor someone or just show them you care about them!

Who We Are

The Frisco Public Library Foundation was founded in 2003 by Frisco citizens who understood that a great public library system would not be possible through government funding alone.

Since then, the Foundation and the Library have worked together, in a strong partnership, to determine where private support can have the greatest impact on the Library.

Make a Gift

Donations provide an opportunity to give hours of enjoyment to others while preserving the memory of a special person and honoring someone you admire.

You may request a Book Endowment or donation for the cost of a single book in the name of a person to Frisco Public Library. A book plate will be placed in each book imprinted with the name of the person in whose honor or memory the book is given. We will also include the name of the donor(s). If you choose, you may suggest subjects for book choices that would be appropriate.

A Book Endowment or Gift as a tribute can help salute a retiring club officer, mark a birthday or anniversary, or thank a business or a friend for a special service. As a memorial, a Book Endowment of Gift is a fitting expression of sympathy and a lasting tribute that continues a person's influence in the community.

Endowments, gifts, and donations may be made in-person, online below, or by using this form, opens a new window.

Book Legacy

With a gift of $500 or more, you can fund a new book each year in honor or memory of someone special. Your donation creates a lasting legacy—adding to the Library's collection annually, starting one year after your endowment is made.

Honorees or their families will receive a letter from the Friends of the Library President, and all gifts will be recognized in a Friends of the Library publication. Endowments can be made by individuals or groups, and each donor will receive a letter of acknowledgement for this tax-deductible contribution.
