What You Can Do:
In the Production Studio, you can easily record or edit audio and video files. From podcasts to voiceovers and short videos, this versatile space has you covered. Whether you’re curious about podcasting or want to experiment with green screen effects, you’ll find everything you need to get started.
While the Library doesn’t provide one-on-one assistance, don't worry! Helpful online tutorials are available both in the studio and on the library’s website as well as printed guides for setting up the equipment so you can confidently tackle your next project.

When it comes to software, the Production Studio offers several powerful options:
- Pro Tools and Edius 9 for recording and editing both audio and video
- OBS Studio for live streaming or recording
- Audacity for recording and editing sound recordings
- Microsoft Sound Recorder: the easiest software for recording audio
Need to brush up on your skills or get familiar with the software? We’ve got you covered with easy-to-follow video tutorials available online, including guides for using Pro Tools, OBS Studio, Audacity and Edius 9. What to Bring:
To save your work, you'll need to bring your own SD card. Be sure to export your files before your reservation ends, as the library doesn't store your work once you're done!
For those interested in more advanced video editing, the Adobe Creative Suite is available in the Computer Lab on the second level of the library, which is open for drop in use unless a class is in progress. We even offer on-demand digital tutorials on using Adobe Premiere for editing videos and Adobe Audition for editing audio recordings that you can access with your library card on LinkedIn Learning.
