Learn something new, pick up a nonfiction title today!
This month, the Friends’ Reading Challenge genre is nonfiction books. The Bookshop has all sorts of titles that would be perfect to read for the challenge. Come in and pick up a book from the gardening section. Or if you are a foodie, how about a new-to-you cookbook? We have some business and self-improvement books that are full of great ideas and steps you can take to improve your professional and personal life today!
Most books in the nonfiction categories are $1-$5. If you’d rather, you can read a book you have at home or even something you check out of the library.
Once you read any nonfiction title, stop by The Bookshop to complete a short entry form. One lucky reader will win a $5 Book Bucks card which can be used in The Bookshop on anything you want! The Friends’ Reading Challenge is open to adults and children, so get the whole family involved!
Did you know that every item in The Bookshop has been donated to the Friends of the Frisco Public Library? Community members, schools, and even estates gift us books, puzzles, and games throughout the year that we use to fill our shelves. All proceeds from the sale of the books are used to fund special projects for Frisco Library.
