Frisco Library Staff Favorite Re-Reads

By FPL_Staff

“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a librarian in possession of a good book must be in want of a reread.”

Working in a library means that we are surrounded by a sea of endless choices. When mentioning to friends where I work, they often exclaim, “Wow, I’d love to be surrounded by books all day!” and indeed it is certainly a pleasure. I love to hear the buzz about new bestsellers and often witness guests speak with such passion when sharing their latest and greatest reads. However, there’s something truly comforting about curling up with a familiar story where you can revisit your favorite characters or passages and immerse yourself in a world you’ve been to before.

Do you ever wonder what the staff at Frisco Public Library love to read and read again? I’ve recently asked our staff to share their favorite books that they enjoy revisiting over and over. The list varies from children’s stories that will put a smile on your face to WWII history told from intriguing points of view to classic literature and intricate plots of revenge.

Go ahead and checkout these great titles that are worth your attention more than once.
