Gratitude & Thankfulness: Books for Kids

November is known as gratitude month, and with Thanksgiving approaching, it’s a great time to reflect on what we are thankful for. Practicing gratitude is an excellent way to teach children about positivity, empathy, and appreciation for the world around them.

I am thankful for having a place to live, food, clean water, friends, family, and people who positively impact my life. Let us take a moment to reflect on gratitude and recognize how fortunate we are when good things happen, whether the events are small or big.

Here are few daily reminders to practice gratitude

  • Notice good things around you and appreciate what you have
  • Say thank you to people who help you - your teacher, doctor, firefighters, mail carrier, and garbage truck drivers! They all deserve recognition for their efforts.
  • Show your gratitude by writing thank-you cards to people you know. You can write a thank-you letter to your mom or dad, your grandma or grandpa.

Take advantage of these thankfulness titles and explore the power of gratitude and make it a part of daily life.

Thank You, Mr. Falker
