Come test your knowledge with Avatar the Last Airbender trivia and anime trivia, support local artists in our Artist Alley, interact with Voice Actors during our panel, enjoy a free comic book as we partner with Free Comic Book Day, compete in our Super Smash Bros tournament, and join a Q&A for Newbery Award-winning author Brian Selznick as he discusses his new book Big Tree.

Storytime Room:

• 11:00am–12:00pm: Brian Selznick Presentation and Q&A, opens a new window                                
  • Newbery Award-winning author Brian Selznick will be delivering a presentation and Q&A around illustrating and storytelling his latest book Big Tree
• 12:15pm–3:00pm: Brian Selznick Book Signing
  • For anyone purchasing copies of Big Tree, Selznick will personalize copies as well as any other titles purchased at FrisCon
  • Available titles will be Big Tree, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, The Marvels, and Wonderstruck

Community Event Room A: 

• 12:00pm–4:00pm: Artist's Alley, opens a new window                              
  • Looking for merch from your favorite graphic novels, manga, and anime? Stop by the artist alley to purchase pins, stickers, prints, and more from local artists.
• 12:00pm–4:00pm: Free Comic Book Giveaway, opens a new window                                 
  • Celebrate Free Comic Book Day with a free comic. One per guest, while supplies last.

Community Event Room B: 

• 12:00pm–12:45pm: Avatar the Last Airbender Trivia, opens a new window                             
  • Become the master of Avatar trivia and if you get the answers wrong… well, that’s rough buddy.
• 1:00pm–1:45pm: Anime Trivia, opens a new window                            
  • Do you think you know anime? Test your knowledge of Jujutsu Kaisen, Fruits Basket, Demon Slayer, and more at anime trivia.
• 2:00pm–2:45pm: Voice Actor Panel, opens a new window                              
  • Join us as we talk to Dallas based voice actors Dani Chambers, Dusty Feeney, Justin Green, and Derick Snow.
• 3:00pm–4:00pm: Voice Actor Autographs, opens a new window

• 1:00pm–2:00pm: Tournament for children ages 12 & under
• 2:00pm–3:00pm: Tournament for teens ages 13–17
• 3:00pm–4:00pm: Tournament for adults ages 18 & up
