It’s never too early to talk to your kiddos about saving and spending money. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau suggests doing this while reading to your children. Check out their website, opens a new window where you can find book suggestions and parent reading guides for the books they recommend.
In the meantime, Frisco Public Library has our own list of picture books you can check out and read with your children on this topic. We have some of the books suggested by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on this list as well as others in our collection.
So, find a comfy spot and cuddle up together to read these picture books that make learning about dollars and cents fun!
After you enjoy reading together, check out these two activities that have to do with money:
Money Tic-Tac-Toe from Education.com, opens a new window
Money Word Search from Teaching Squared.com, opens a new window
