It’s getting close to that time of year when many people start thinking about things they may want to change or improve by making a resolution. Have you ever considered making a reading resolution? It could be that you resolve to read more, or maybe resolve to read one award winning book a month, or maybe to read something from a genre you don’t normally pick. There’s lots of ways to do it.
There are plenty of reading challenges out there to help. Why don’t you try one of these for 2021?
- For the hardcore readers out there, try joining Goodreads, opens a new window and start tracking what you read. You can network with other readers, log what you have read and what you want to read, and also set a yearly challenge.
- I found this really cool master list of reading challenges, opens a new window. You can see lots of different types of challenges all in one place and choose the one that looks best to you:
- Here’s a challenge from me- take a look at all the great book lists that the Texas Library Association, opens a new window has on their website. Choose a list and resolve to spend 2021 reading it.
Remember when you log on to your account on our website, not only can you look for your challenge books, you can also comment on books, tag them, rate them, and create lists to share.
Good luck and happy reading in the New Year!
