
Looking for a stock-comparing tool that's free to use? Frisco Public Library has you covered. With Morningstar, opens a new window you can analyze stocks, mutual funds, indexes, sectors, or your portfolio. It also provides easy to use tutorials for those new to Morningstar and investing.
- Visit the library's website, opens a new window and then click Morningstar to get started.

Quick Facts
The menu for tools is located on the left-hand side of the screen. This is where you'll find tools to compare, research and analyze stocks, mutual funds, indexes, sectors, etc. It also provides free webinars showcasing the latest insights into market trends and regulations along with tips to sharpen your workflow strategy. There are webinars focusing on sustainable investing, credit ratings, financial regulation, and wealth strategies. Select the Morningstar Research icon to get started with webinars.

They also provide free investing courses from beginner to advanced. Click on the graduation hat icon to get started with Morningstar's investing courses on stocks, funds, portfolios, bonds, and ETFs. They have everything you need to help you learn the ins and outs of investing.
Never used Morningstar and not sure where to begin? No worries, they have tutorials and training sessions on how best to utilize their website. Just click on the question mark icon in the upper right-hand corner to get started.

Lastly, please remember to log out when you are finished. The system only allows a limited number of concurrent users at a time and you need to log out so the system knows your session has ended. To end your session click on the human icon in the upper right-hand corner and then select Sign Out.
