Starting in March with the first breeze of warm air that floats through, the surrounding landscapes gradually become dappled with vivid color. If you’re stretching your legs with a walk around the neighborhood or visiting one of the many parks in the area, keep a lookout for these ephemeral wonders.
There are several kinds of wildflowers in Texas (even more than the ones featured here!) and many of them have unique stories tied to the history of the land and the people who lived here.
