This year plans to be just as spectacular if not more! You'll probably see spectacular and some over-the-top fashion but what you won't see this year is a host. For the second year in a row, the 92nd Academy Awards will be host-less. “We expect that we’re going to have a very commercial set of nominations and a lot of incredible elements have come together that make us think we are going to have a very entertaining show again,” Karey Burke, entertainment president for ABC, said according to Varietyopens a new window. All the category nominations were announced on January 13th and you can view them all at Oscar.com AND you can check out a few of the Best Motion Picture of the Year nominees at Frisco Library!
*There are additional nominees but we are only showing what the Library has in the collection. See the full list of nominees at Oscar.com.
