Calling all Teen Writers!

By FPL_ElizabethH

Once a year, we invite teen writers in grades 6–12 to submit their best poetry and short stories for our Teen Writers Anthology. We hope to receive scary stories, back-to-school tales, haunting poetry, magic, and cozy autumn vibes. So, start brainstorming something new or edit pieces you have already written.

Submissions open on Sunday, October 15. Writers must be in grades 6–12 and pick up their anthology in person. More information about how to submit and guidelines will be posted soon. Keep an eye out for it on the website.

Be sure to attend the Teen Write-In Session on Saturday, October 21, opens a new window from 3:00-4:00PM. Write On! Creative Writing Center will be attending to offer tips, suggestions, and support during the write-in

Need some inspiration? Check out the book lists below for poetry, novels in verse, and short story anthologies. Be sure to check out past teen anthologies in the Community Author section on the second floor.
