  • General Questions

    • Who can reserve the production studio?
      • Library members in good standing who are age 14 and older.
      • Library members are unable to reserve the production studio if their card is blocked at the time that they are making the reservation.
    • Reservation limits
      • Studio may be reserved once per day for up to two hours.
      • Studio is reservable up to seven days in advance.
    • Library members must reserve online.

      • Library members will receive a 6-digit door code in their email. This code is only sent in the original confirmation email, not in the reminder email.
    • Individuals using the room are responsible for leaving the room neat and tidy.
      • Guests may check out equipment with their library card and accept the responsibility for the room and its equipment.
        • This room is not soundproof, therefore activities that exceed conversational sound level are not permitted.
        • No food or drink is allowed in the production studio.
        • Maximum of six people in the space.
        • Failure to maintain equipment will result in loss of reservation privileges.
    • All library guests must adhere to the library policy.

    • Guests must save their work on a personal SD card or drive. All files are automatically deleted at the end of the reservation.
    • The use of the production studio does not constitute Library or City of Frisco endorsement of a viewpoint expressed by a group or by a participant.
    • The library does not provide audio, video, or other equipment other than that which is already installed in the room. Written instructions for the use of the equipment within the room are posted. The Library does not assist with the equipment.

    Please Note: No reservation for the study or conference room shall be legally binding. The Library Director may cancel any room reservation at any time, with or without cause.

    • Who can reserve a study or meeting rooms?
      • Library members in good standing who are age 14 and older.
    • Reservation limits
      • Rooms may be reserved twice per day for up to two total hours and are reservable up to seven days in advance.
    • Library members must reserve rooms online.
      • Library members will receive a 6-digit door code in their confirmation email.
    • Individuals using the room are responsible for leaving the room neat and tidy.
      • Responsibilities include:
        • Return furniture to its original position.
        • Dispose of trash.
        • Erase whiteboard.
      • Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in the library.
        • Messy foods (e.g. ice cream) and foods that require heat or cold for preparation and/or serving are prohibited.
      • Anything that may cause irreversible damage is prohibited. Including but not limited to candles, fireworks, staples, tacks, etc.
      • Decorations and craft supplies are prohibited. Including but not limited to balloons, bubbles, confetti, glitter, paint, sequins, silly string, etc.
      • Failure to maintain a clean and tidy room will result in loss of reservation privileges.
    • All library guests must adhere to the library policy.
    • The use of a study room and/or meeting room does not constitute Library or City of Frisco endorsement of a viewpoint expressed by a group or by a participant. 
    • A group using a room may not advertise or announce an event to be held in a study or meeting room if the advertisement or announcement states or implies endorsement by the Library or the City of Frisco. A group using a room may not use images or likeness of the Library in advertising or announcements.
    • Announcements or notices to publicize an activity may not be posted or distributed on Library premises.
    • The library does not provide audio, video, or other equipment other than that which is already installed in the room.  Written instructions for the use of the equipment within the room are posted. The Library does not assist with the equipment. 
    • The Library does not set up or arrange furniture or equipment in a study or meeting room.
