Adult Volunteering at Frisco Public Library

By FPL_Staff

Do you like to sort and organize things? Are you good at keeping everything in order? Do you like meeting and interacting with a variety of people? Interested in new technology?

Then we would love to have you volunteer at Frisco Public Library! We value the dedication of our volunteers. They make the library a better place!

What do volunteers do at the library?

Our volunteers perform a variety of tasks. These include arranging books on book carts, straightening books on shelves, and keeping the library space in tip top shape. Our volunteers also help with programming such as English as a Second Language sessions, storytime events, and more.

What about the new library?

As we gear up for the big move to the new library space, we will need even more volunteers to conduct tours, provide directions and information, and assist with special events.

Do I need special skills or knowledge to volunteer?

You do not need any special skills or knowledge to volunteer. In most cases, you will receive same day training for your tasks. We only ask that you bring your willingness to help!
