International eBooks, Audiobooks, and Magazines

Did you know that the library has eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines that you can access online through Libby by OverDrive? In addition to English digital materials, we also have them in other languages as well.

There are over 25 languages to choose from including popular languages like Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and Hindi. All Frisco residents with library cards have access to our digital collection.

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to browse our digital international language collection.

1. Go to FriscoLibrary.com, opens a new window and select Digital library from the blue toolbar and then Libby by OverDrive from the dropdown menu.
   
2. Click on where it says Search and then click Advanced when the search box expands.
   

3. Click on the field All Languages, select your language, and then click SEARCH.
   
4. This brings up all the digital materials we have in the language you selected. You can narrow it down by availability, audience, and subject. If there are materials in a particular format, like eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines you can also click on them to narrow down by file type.
