Did you know that Frisco Library members have a $0.75 daily allowance to use for printing and copying services at the library? Here’s how to use it.
To print, head to FriscoLibrary.com, opens a new window on your phone or computer, or open the Frisco Library app. Under the EXPLORE tab, and SERVICES column, select “Print From Your Device.” In the app, this option will be at the very bottom of the home page.

You'll be redirected to the library’s printing service. Click the blue rectangle at the top of the page to attach your documents. You can also specify whether you want to print in black and white or color, the number of copies you want, and if you want double-sided prints by using the Settings widget. Note: black and white prints cost $0.15 per page/side, and color prints are $0.50 per page/side.
Once you have selected your desired settings, click the green “Continue” button.

Type in your email address or library card number and click “OK.”

Follow the remaining prompts until you are advised that you can close the page.
Next, head over to a print station in the library and use the touchscreen to select “Print.” If you used your email address when attaching your documents, type your email address in the appropriate field. If you used your library card number, type that number in the library card field. Hit enter.
A list of your documents will populate.
Select your documents and touch the “Print” icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
On the Payment Options screen, tap the icon next to "Pay From Guest Account.”

Scan your library card or type in your library card number.
Your documents will start to print!
Some things to note:
The $0.75 daily allowance does not roll over to the next day.
The printing station cannot apply your member allowance to a print job totaling more than $0.75 cents. For example, if you print 8 pages in black and white, this will cost $1.20. The printing station will not be able to subtract your $0.75 allowance from the $1.20 total. It will instead ask for the full $1.20. A workaround for this would be to split your print into two parts, with one totaling $0.75 or less, and apply your allowance to that transaction. You can then select your remaining documents and pay for them with your credit/debit card or Tap.
