Do you automatically smile when you see someone else smiling? I do! That’s because smiling is contagious as well as very beneficial to your health, mood, and to those around you. Smiling can help relieve stress even if your smile is not quite genuine. You’ve heard the expression “Fake it till you make it.” Well, that goes for smiling too! Smiling can help you appear confident and can foster a positive attitude despite feeling unsure about things.
With June being National Smile Month, we also need to take care of our smiles. Don’t forget to floss and brush your teeth every day and visit the dentist twice a year. Doing that will help you physically maintain your smile as well as contribute to a healthier you!
