We are in the final few months of the 2023 2023 Friends’ Reading Challenge continues with an unconventional genre in October. We want to challenge you to read a Cookbook!
Fall is the perfect time to bake, make soup or do a test run of some new holiday recipe that you want to try. Find a cookbook, choose your recipe, hit up the H-E-B for ingredients and make something magical! (And if it turns out amazing feel free to share it with the volunteers in the Bookshop when you come by to fill out an entry form.)
Don’t forget, when you fill out the entry you are in the running to win a $5 Book Bucks Card to be used on any item in the Bookshop.
If you don't have any inspiring cookbooks at home, stop by the library to see what they have and be sure to stop in the Bookshop where we will have a section of mouthwatering titles that will suit the challenge.
