Month seven of the Friends’ Reading Challenge is offering a colorful genre to choose from... the theme is RAINBOLIC! Choose a book with a beautiful bright colored cover (any color of the rainbow will do) or that has a color in the title of the story. Fiction, non-fiction, self-help, mystery, teen, sci-fi...whatever kind of book you want to dig into is just fine, just include some color.
Entry into the monthly drawing is needed by the last day of the month and you must visit The Bookshop inside the Library to enter. There is no purchase necessary and one lucky winner will receive a $5 Book Bucks card that can be used toward a purchase in The Bookshop. The Challenge is open to all ages so get the whole family involved.
Consider titles like The Hunt for Red October, Green Eggs and Ham, The House on the Cerulean Sea, or Brown Bear Brown Bear. The Bookshop will have color focused displays all month to help if you are looking for a special book or just inspiration.
This collage shows a few books available in The Bookshop that have bright colorful covers or which have a color in the title. Come on in and see what you can find!
