North Texas is home to a lot of authors. If you’ve just joined that illustrious group, congratulations!
At the Frisco Public Library, we are pleased to provide a home for the work of local authors in our Community Authors collection. The Community Authors collection is housed on the 2nd level.
If you’re wondering how to have your book added to the Community Authors collection, the process is simple. First, the following criteria must be met:
- The author currently resides in Frisco (or an immediately adjacent community: Allen, Little Elm, Hackberry, McKinney, Plano, Prosper, or The Colony) and/or is a Frisco Library member.
- The author completes the form below and follows subsequent instructions for donating a copy of the book.
- The author donates one (1) copy of the book for consideration.
- The book meets the criteria outlined in our Service Policy.
Books donated for consideration are accepted as gifts to the Friends of the Library and will not be returned.
After the form is submitted, you will receive an email informing you whether we are able to accept a donated copy of your book for consideration and, if so, instructions for next steps. Please allow one (1) week for response.
Congratulations again and happy writing!
