Introducing Blue-Bot!

If you are looking for a way to kick-start your child’s interest in coding and robotics, then look no further than our newest STEM kit, Blue-Bot! Blue-Bot is perfect for kids ages 5–8 and the best part is, you don’t need any prior coding experience! All you have to do is press the directional buttons on Blue-Bot's back to tell him where to go.

With each button you press you are giving Blue-Bot step by step instructions (or creating lines of code) that he then follows to whatever destination you decide. Take turns setting up a maze on the floor and see if you can get Blue-Bot to reach the end. Take turns giving Blue-Bot instructions and have the other person try and guess where he’ll end up.

For more of a challenge, you can use an app on your phone to connect to Blue-Bot. This will let you see each step in the code you entered and edit it on the screen.

Not only does Blue-bot help build foundational coding concepts, but he also helps build skills in counting, sequencing, directionality, problem-solving, and estimation.
