Tuning the Ukulele
This is the essential first step. If your uke is not in tune, you’ll struggle while following the video lessons. Here are two preferred free apps for tuning the uke.

Cynthia has great energy, lots of positivity, and clear instructions. The lessons start at a comfortable pace then pick up speed; you might even play a popular song by the end. It is the perfect choice if you’re testing to see if the ukulele is right for you.

These lessons include a lot of detail. If your motivation is high, however, you can do 4 or 5 of the lessons in a day. These start with the fundamentals and vocabulary. It takes a while before you actually play your first song, but ‘uke’ can do it!
