The Friends of the Frisco Public Library is a community based, non-profit organization that promotes and supports the Frisco Public Library. We work throughout the year on fundraising and volunteering for the library. Our fund-raising activities include sales in the Friends’ Bookshop, participation in the North Texas Giving Day program, and sales of our annual collectible ornament. All fundraising proceeds support the programs and facilities of Frisco Public Library.
The Friends of the Frisco Public Library will hold their Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, February 24th at 10:00am, in Community Room B of the Library. We welcome anyone interested in joining the group to attend the meeting to learn more about us. We will be holding our board elections and making plans for 2024. (If you want to participate in the elections you will need to join the group at the meeting as only members are eligible to vote.) Membership information is also available in the Bookshop. If you’d like to know more, stop by the Bookshop and speak to one of our members.
