Friends’ September Reading Challenge – Fairytale/Fantasy

By FPLFriend_Susan

As the world cools down a bit, how about you take a trip? No need to pack a bag or buy a ticket for this trip, simply pick up a book! This month’s challenge is to read a book that is a Fairytale or Fantasy. Books that include magical places, people, and things can stretch a reader’s imagination and a super escape from the world.

The Friends of the Frisco Public Library sponsors the Reading Challenge each month by suggesting a different genre to read. The challenge is open to any age and the book you choose can be an e-book, audiobook, or physical book. You can pick the title from your personal shelf, a library shelf, or from the shelves inside The Friends Bookshop located inside the Frisco Public Library. Simply read a fairytale or fantasy title then stop by The Bookshop to complete an entry form. A blind drawing will take place on or about September 30th and one lucky winner will receive a $5 Book Bucks card to use in The Bookshop.

Here are some fairytale and fantasy titles that you could consider:

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

The Hobbit

A Court of Thorns and Roses

The Land of Stories
